§ The CPO-4B Bull Mountain Governance Committee’s “Study of Governance Options for Unincorporated Bull Mountain” can still be seen on our Governance Study page. Even after the November 7, 2006 election, where incorporating as a new city was narrowly defeated, the CPO-4B “Study of Governance Options for Unincorporated Bull Mountain” is still a very valid study for the area.

General Information

CPO-4B is one of approximately 17 CPOs in Washington County, Oregon. We are a group of citizens united by geographic location, and organized to facilitate effective citizen involvement in the planning and development of matters affecting the quality of life and livability of the Bull Mountain/Tigard community. We are a place where issues can be discussed in a comfortable forum; where you can meet neighbors who are interested in your community; where you can get unbiased information; and where you can find neighbors who will listen to your concerns and work with you to find solutions. We are a public organization open to all. We operate within the guidelines of our Bylaws and Oregon Public Meetings Laws. Our Officers include a Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer, chosen from among our large Steering Committee.

Meetings

§ General Meetings are normally held the First Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Alberta Rider Elementary School in Tigard. The agenda for the next meeting and our monthly newsletter are posted about two weeks in advance of the meeting. Click here for details.

§ Steering Committee Meetings are normally held the second Thursday of each month at the fire station on Burnham Street in Tigard.

§ All of our meetings are open to the public.

Join Us

Membership includes all of voting age who reside in, own property in, or own or operate a business within the boundaries of CPO-4B Bull Mountain /Tigard. CPO-4B Bull Mountain /Tigard members include residents of cities and unincorporated areas per the attached map. If you live or own/operate a business within our boundaries, you are already a member! You simply need to sign in at a meeting or send us contact information to be added to our mailing list for monthly meeting updates. Please specify if you would prefer a U.S. Mail newsletter or the on-line version.
